Jackal only listens when you turn it on, and it keeps songs, not recordings.

  • Off until you turn it onBackground listening starts when you start it, and stops whenever you want.
  • Matched, then discardedShort clips are matched against songs, then deleted. If you're offline, a clip waits on your phone until it can be matched, then it's deleted too.
